Information for Authors of a Collection of Scientific Works
PHYSICAL AND
TECHNICAL PROBLEMS OF MINING PRODUCTION
1
REQUIREMENTS FOR PAPERS
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The Collection accepts papers that are made in accordance with the submission requirements
set out in this document, and correspond to the thematic areas of the
Collection.
The paper should not exceed 7,000 words. The title
of the paper should not exceed 120 characters.
Languages: English, Ukrainian, Russian.
The file format to be submitted
to the Editorial Board: doc.
The manuscripts sent to the editorial office will not be returned.
The Editorial
Board of the journal has the right to make changes to the text of the
publication, edit, and format the manuscript, in accordance with the
Submission Information, but with the consent of the author.
PAPER STRUCTURE
The paper should contain:
- classification
index, according to the UDC (ÓÄÊ) system;
- name
(no more than 120 characters);
- name,
surname of the authors (no more than 7 characters);
- information
about the place of work, indicating the address of the institution;
- the e-mail address of the author with whom it would be
possible to correspond.
The main text of the paper is preceded by the ABSTRACT
(no more than 200 words), which indicates:
- the purpose of the research;
- the methods of the research;
- the findings;
- the originality of the paper;
- the practical implications.
After that, keywords that reflect the
research topic shall be given. The number of keywords should not exceed 10.
The use of abbreviations is prohibited.
The paper shall consist of the following content
blocks:
- Introduction. The Introduction
should contain information about the relevance of the research, an analysis
of previous studies, the statement of the problem, and tasks of the study.
- Methods. The stages of
research, structure, and order of the study shall be indicated.
- Results. The research
results shall be provided.
- Discussion. Discussion of the
research results obtained.
- Conclusions. The results
obtained shall be summarized.
It is advisable to
cite the Acknowledgments of the organization, laboratory in which the
research has been carried out, or the grant that sponsors the given
research at the end of the paper.
LIST OF REFERENCES shall be given at the end of the paper. The literature shall be
drawn up, in accordance with the APA standard—the author-date method. For automatic drawing-up, you can use the following resource: http://www.citethisforme.com. If the
article has a doi, then it should be
indicated.
Additionally, the list of used references should
be transliterated in Latin
(REFERENCES) (you can use http://translit.net/ru/?account=bgn for Russian
and http://translit.net/ua/ for Ukrainian) and drawn up, in accordance with
the ARA standard.

AUTHOR’S OWN RESEARCH SHOULD NOT EXCEED 30%.
After the List of References, an abstract shall be
given in Ukrainian under the name ABSTRACT (IN UKRAINIAN) and in
Russian—ABSTRACT (IN RUSSIAN). All abstract texts should be
identical.
REQUIREMENTS FOR
THE TEXT, FORMULAS, FIGURES, AND TABLES
1. TEXT
- document format –
A4 (210x297mm), orientation – portrait, all margins – 20mm;
- font type – Times
New Roman, line spacing – single, alignment – in width, hyphenation should
be used in the text, indentation – 0.5cm, there are no spacing between
paragraphs of the same style;
- at the beginning,
it should be the index of the universal decimal classification (UDC)
– left alignment, font type – Times New Roman, font size – 12pt., no
indentation;
- the title of the
paper should be in CAPITAL LETTERS, in bold, without indentation,
typeface – Times New Roman, font size – 12pt., center alignment,
hyphenation in the title is prohibited;
- the authors’ surnames should be given after the title; in addition, the full name, academic
title, academic degree, and place of work should be indicated; left alignment,
font type – Times New Roman, font size – 12pt., no indentation;
- the ABSTRACT should follow the information about the authors;
center alignment, font type – Times New Roman, font size – 12pt., no
indentation;
- the body text should be drawn up
as follows: center alignment, font type – Times New Roman, font size –
12pt., paragraph indention – 0.5cm;
- structural elements of the paper (Introduction,
etc.) should be highlighted in bold, with capital letters, without
indentation. For example: 1. INTRODUCTION,
2. METHODS, 3. RESULTS, etc., typeface – Times New Roman, font size – 12pt., left alignment;
- REFERENCES should be drawn up with Times New Roman font type, font size – 11pt., center alignment, and paragraph indention – 0.5cm;
- abstracts
in Ukrainian under the name ABSTRACT (IN UKRAINIAN) and in Russian—ABSTRACT
(IN RUSSIAN) shall be drawn up identically to the ABSTRACT;
- ABOUT AUTHORS should follow the abstracts, with Times New Roman font type, font size – 11pt., center alignment, and paragraph indention – 0.5cm.
2. FORMULAS
- formulas
that are referenced in the paper text should be numbered on the right in
parentheses;
- please skip
one line before and after the formula;
- all
formulas shall be typed in Microsoft Equation 3.0;
- Microsoft
Equation parameters: ordinary – 10, large index – 8, small index – 7, large
symbol – 10, small symbol – 8.
3. FIGURES
- all figures
should be presented in jpg, wmf, emf, tif,
gif, pcx, bmp, png, or cdr formats (resolution is at least 600dpi);
- the figures
should be referenced in the text;
- references to a figure should be given as follows:
first, the name “figure” shall be written, and then after the indentation,
the number shall be indicated; for example, “... Figure 1 shows ...”;
- one line
should be skipped before and after the figure;
- a figure
orientation – centered, without indentation;
- a figure
caption should be placed under the figure as follows: first, the word
“Figure” shall be written in full, then the figure number shall be
indicated, a dot shall be put, and then the name of the figure shall be
written with a capital letter. For example: Figure
1. Laboratory-scale plant diagram;
- figure
caption parameters: font type – Times New Roman, font size – 11pt., center alignment, no paragraph
indention.
4. TABLES
- the tables
should be referenced in the text;
- references to a table should be given as follows: t, the
name “table” shall be written, and then after the indentation, the number
shall be indicated; for example, “... Table 1 shows ...”;
- one line
should be skipped before and after the table;
- a table
orientation – centered, without indentation;
- a table
caption should be placed under the figure as follows: first, the word
“Table” shall be written in full, then the figure number shall be
indicated, a dot shall be put, and then the name of the table shall be
written with a capital letter. For example: Table
1. Experiment results;
- table

indention.
An expanded abstract (at least 1,800 characters)
in English shall be submitted to the Editorial
Board together with the manuscript.
