The Physical
and Technical Problems of Mining Production Collection of Scientific
Works is published by the Institute of Physics of
Mining Processes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In the Collection,
the papers are devoted to important problems of petrophysics,
mining geomechanics, the study of processes
accompanying the coal mining and mineral extraction.
The purpose of
the Collection is to
highlight the key problems facing the modern mining industry and to address
these issues through fundamental and applied research, involving the
development of new scientific approaches.
The Collection
focuses on familiarizing foreign and domestic specialists with contemporary
trends in the development of the Ukrainian and world mining industry. Promoting
and sharing the knowledge gained from the relationship between national and
international research will help in future development projects.
Problems of the
Collection:
- physics of coal and rocks;
- forecasting and managing the state of the rock
massif;
- physics of mining processes at great depths;
- technical and economic problems of mining.
The Collection objectives:
- developing a high-quality scientific
publication in the field of natural sciences, production, and technology,
which will facilitate the exchange of scientific and technical information,
increase the level of scientific and research knowledge;
- publishing the results of research on topical
issues of the physics of mining processes, the development of the mining
industry, the identification of promising ways of creating and developing
new equipment and technologies in mining;
- popularizing national and world experience in
the development and active implementation of scientific developments, coverage
of the advanced experience of scholars and industrial workers;
- providing an information field for discussing the
results of research, promising developments, testing and implementation of
new technical solutions.
The main
profile directions of the Collection remain the publication of original (previously unpublished),
completed research in technical fields of science, which are oriented or
which are contiguous with the physics of mining processes, prospection,
development, and exploitation of mineral deposits.
The Editorial
Board does not charge publishing fees and the publication of materials is free
of charge.
